Wedding in Chianti Wine Venue

Alix and Jonathan are a French couple living in London. They got engaged during a holiday in Tuscany, hence they decided to tie the knot at the same venue. A winery wich is also a wedding venue with incredible views and internal restaurant that offer delicious dishes. They spent three days with wine tasting, welcome dinner, brunch and obviously their wedding in Chianti wine venue.

The Catholic ceremony took place at a beautiful church laying on a hill and overlooking the typical Tuscan landscape. The bride arrived by a convertible cream MG driven by her father and aftewards by the Jonathan. They had a romantic photo session along the road leading to the venue and in the olive groove.

It was then aperitif time. The Italian garden of the villa was perfect to host several food and drinks corner, the band a mirror photobooth and many beautiful corners for photos, including a terrace with a stunning view over the hills. After the sunset we moved the the oaks garden where the dinner took place in between trees and chandeliers. The cake cutting surrounded by spirnklers took place in front of the old cellar where they partied and had fun till late.

MOOD BOARD AND STYLE

Scent of wine, burgundy and blush

The villa Alix and Jonathan hired for their wedding in Chianti wine venue has definitely a strong character. Typically Tuscan, its pink hues set the tone of our palette which was neutral colours, green, burgundy, dusty blush with hints of gold. The decoration was simple and delicate, as they wanted to leave the venue speaking for itself. The dinner was a mix of shapes: the rectangular top table ran the entire length of the vintage tent,  facing the view with round tables dotting the garden in between the trees. All around candles and chandeliers hanging from the tress.

TESTIMONIAL

The most wonderful and seamless wedding

We had the most wonderful and seamless wedding thanks to Sara and her staff. Thanks to their planning, we could organise the different aspects of the wedding throughout the year and focus our energy on making the event our own. They knew several quality providers for most services from which we could choose, and with whom we were extremely happy. They were also very efficient at fulfilling our less standard wishes – most of which would have been impossible to realise on our own. But most importantly, we could savour our wedding day from start to finish, and spend our time enjoying ourselves and our guests while the event was unwinding around us like magic. A huge thanks!
