It was a late September sunny and mild day. As always happens in this period of the year, the light was soft and very romantic, with the sunset painted of orange tones. We cannot have asked for a better atmosphere to match the bride and groom vision: a charming and warm Chianti castle wedding.
Marita and Alesio made clear from the beginning what they wanted for their big day. It was primarily an occasion to spend time with nearest and dearest with a few events like wine tasting, pizza night, and a brunch to recover after the wedding celebration. However, they wanted to avoid dragging around their guests that travelled from overseas. The castle with its different spaces, and which is also a winery, was the perfect solution. Everybody stayed in the room, suite, apartments and farmhouses scattered around teh property, and all events happened on site.
The symbolic ceremony took place in one of the most scenographic corners of the venue: a hill that overlooks the castle. Later in the afternoon, the apéritif was hosted in the herbal garden with a nice arbour that framed the entrance of the couple after the photographic session. The main garden overlooking the sunset is always the best spot for the dinner which is followed by the party in a magnificent frescoed hall.
Every moment of their Chianti castle wedding was astounding and laid back at the same time, peaceful and infused of positive emotions.
