When Michael and Katherine first got in touch to organize an intimate wedding in Tuscan hamlet, we immediately understood that working with them would have been a pleasure. Gentle, sensitive, respectful they were at the same time determined to create a lovely 3-day event to surprise and amaze their guests. Michael had studied in Florence, so he was familiar with the area, which made it easier for them to choose the location. Nevertheless, the venue was crucial. With a small wedding of 25 people, it was essential to find a place that could blend privacy and cosiness with nice spaces for the wedding and felicities to enjoy the entire weekend.
So, we organized their intimate wedding in Tuscan hamlet a few steps from Florence. Pool, spa, internal restaurant, pizza oven, stunning views, olive grooves and vineyards all around. It simply had everything they were looking for. They didn’t come to Italy before the wedding, so I think they kept a certain anxiety and excitement till their arrival. The planning was an intense back and forth of emails and calls to define every single detail. It was important that they could get a sense of every service booked, flower cropped and dish chosen from far away.
When the gate of the Borgo opened, every hesitation was blown away. Their dream wedding could start and there wasn’t anything else to do than enjoy every moment, scent, flavour that a destination wedding brings.
