Clover and Craig came from England and contacted us 14 months before their wedding. It was summer, and they were planning to come to Tuscany for a long weekend to find the perfect place for their special day. In a few days we proposed several options suitable for such a group – 100 people – with on-site accommodation for everybody. Indeed, Clover and Craig were looking for a long weekend where to organize a welcome dinner, the wedding, and a pool party the day after.
After a few inspections, we visited what was to become the venue for their country farm wedding in Tuscany. Located a few minutes from Siena, Clover and Craig immediately fell in love. Informal, laid-back, with plenty of spaces to create different settings for every event.
The wedding itself ran smoothly. The ceremony that took place in the garden with rows of lemon trees as aisle and an ancient statue as backdrop. In the lawn nearby we organized the cocktail time with some games. Afterwards the dinner was in the main square: with its rectangular shape it was ideal for the dinner with rectangular tables. To finish first dance and party were held in the ancient granary.
