Charlotte and Daniel are a young couple from England. They dreamed of an intimate wedding in Tuscan countryside, a long weekend with nearest and dearest, relaxing by a pool, enjoying a wine tasting, having fun. Being a small group, they were looking for a venue where the entire group could stay, and that could offer hotel services as well has a restaurant on site. Also, the proximity to Florence was relevant. After a two days itinerary around Tuscany, we ended up booking a brand new, laid-back hamlet located at 30 minutes from Florence. Although the proximity to the city centre, the venue was surrounded by hills and fields, with the typical Tuscan landscape.
At guests arrival we organized a pizza party in the main square of the hamlet. It was super fun to see the “pizzaiolo” making the pizzas fly and cook them in the ancient wood-burning oven. The cherry on top was a Fiat 500 ice-cream cart that amazed all guests.
The main day had definitely a different atmosphere. We could breathe the excitement of Daniel, Charlotte, and their families and friends. The civil ceremony happened on site, in a big lawn overlooking the hills. Olive trees and spikes were all around. A calm breeze along with the pool where to dip the feet, were a nice solution to cool off from the summer heat. The main terrace with view hosted dinner and party in a cosy ambience and dancing mood all night long.
